OBEY THE GM!

We’re going to a fantasy world where a community worships the Great Monolith (GM). Noble Petitioner Characters (NPCs)—are granted visions from the GM and are duty-bound to follow those instructions (insofar as they can interpret what that huge rock actually means).

When you and your friends play OBEY THE GM!, you'll see how well your group of NPCs manage to do the GM's bidding.
One of you will be the GM, providing quests. Another is the Priest of the Cosmos (PC), in charge of the world. Everyone else creates and plays an NPC.

OBEY THE GM! grew from a joke and my views on player roles in role-playing games—equal parts comedy, manifesto, and roleplaying game.
